Stephenson is the second largest Township in Wisconsin with approximately 180 square miles of land. They have over 3,000 acres of water on the Peshtigo River Flowages and 14 public boat landings. The lakes and shores are still retained in their natural state with their shores forested, not urbanized by cottages. The Town of Stephenson is also home to the new Tommy Thompson State Park, several county parks, and a town park. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy hunting, fishing, boating, camping, snowmobiliing, ATV, hiking, cross country skiing, canoeing, rafting, and even golfing.
